...Sebastian (25) - Product Development Online Shop Team
Sebastian Studied Applied Computer Science at the HAW. Started at novomind as a working student and joined the product development team for online shops this year.
How did you get to novomind?
I was looking for a job that would fulfil me. I came to novomind through a fellow student.
Which project has been particularly exciting for you so far?
I worked on an internal tool that automatically generates invoices. That was very challenging for me. I had a lot of responsibility because the tool is important for the whole company. After all, it maps all the services that are provided.
What do you like about novomind?
You feel that your ideas are taken seriously and accepted right away. I thought it was great that even as a working student I was given the chance to prove myself on an important project. I also like working at our head office because there are lots of plants and it's not so drab and colourless. And our canteen is also super varied. I especially look forward to Fridays, when we have currywurst.
...Caroline (27) - App Development Team
Caroline is trained as a media designer and studied Media Systems at HAW. She wrote her bachelor's thesis at novomind, started as a working student and has since joined the app development team. Caroline develops mobile apps for Android and works on the Google Assistant Voice App.
How did you get to novomind?
By word of mouth. Some of my fellow students have already worked at novomind and recommended the employer to me.
Which project has been the most exciting for you so far?
I program mobile Android apps and take care of their UX design. We're working on a navigation app for a large electronics retailer, which consumers can use to find products in shops more quickly. I find such innovative projects exciting.
What do you like about novomind?
My super team. We all get on well and are on the same level. If you ever have a problem, everyone tries to help. We work together on future topics every day. That's a lot of fun.
... Julian (36) - IT Service Transition Team
Julian studied business informatics at the University of Hamburg. Initially worked for novomind for many years in the Operations department. Today he is Head of IT Service Transition. Julian is responsible for installing and setting up live operations for customers.
How did you get to novomind?
Through a recommendation from a school friend at the beginning of my studies. I started as a temp in the IT department. Now I'm head of the IT Service Transition department.
What do you like about novomind?
The fact that we are a great team of colleagues who together always give everything to make our projects a success.
